More than anything I would like this to be a go- on-have- a-go blog. I write, unpublished, for enjoyment, I paint, mostly portraits in pastel, unexhibited, never commissioned, and I convene a u3a group enjoying learning Latin, and , you’ve guessed it, I am totally unqualified to do this. So this is for you, if you have an interest in any of these subjects. Hopefully my experience (and my mistakes), can be of use and encouragement!
